WATCH NIGHT SERVICES
Many of you who live or grew up in Black communities in the United States have probably heard of "Watch Night Services," the gathering of the faithful in church on New Year's Eve.
The service usually begins anywhere from 7 p.m. To 10 p.m. And ends at midnight with the entrance of the New Year. Some folks come to church fi...Read Full Post »

Hey everyone! Just a quick heads up. The final chapter is about done, and should be posted no later than Sunday. I say Sunday because my hubby's kidnapping me Sat and there's a couple of points I need to make to tie this story in with Brenda and Roark. That story's shaping up really good by the way! And will be out in November.
Then it goes to editing. My hope is to have the finished book uploaded to Smashwords.com by the middle of next week.

I apologoze for the delay with the last chapters for Not This Time, Frank and Veronique's short story. I went with the hubby to Key West thinking I'd be able to finish and post. But the internet service was wonky!

Secrets is a fictional story rooted in reality. Truthfully, I wanted to slow roast the rapist and th...Read Full Post »

I'm really stoked over the upcoming story with one of my fav female characters, Veronique. In case you forgot, she's Cherise's mother. She played a major role in the first book, (Have I Told You Lately) and made an appearance in each subsequent book.
I developed her fiesty character from a friend of mind, who's name should be "Pepper." An interesting mix of street wisdom and down ho...Read Full Post »

For those of you who read the first two books, you know Red and I had a long road but, it seems we're finally on the right path. God, I hope so. That man drives me crazy at times, but I love his kind of crazy. We're having an intense discussion right now about my daddy's role in the wedding.
